Day 1: Marrakech » Ait Ben Haddou » Taourirt Kasbah » Ouarzazate [193 km]

Morning pick up from your Marrakech hotel or the airport, and the journey begins! Crossing the High Atlas (Tizi N’Tichka) with scenic viewpoints, optionally visiting the argan oil cooperative to learn about the production process. Passing through the fertile Zat Valley, known for cultivating various crops. Explore the Ait Ben Haddou ksar, a UNESCO site featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Great Desert, home to the significant Atlas Studios. Explore the Taourirt Kasbah, former residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate » Draa Valley » Merzouga Desert » [367 km]

Immerse into the Draa Valley, one of Morocco most beautiful routes, featuring a green valley with date palm trees. Explore the adobe fortifications along the Draa River, witness the breathtaking landscapes, and visit the small agricultural village of Agdz. In the afternoon, cross the rocky desert (Hammada) to reach Rissani, exploring the town’s authentic souk. By days end, arrive in Merzouga, taking camels to the Erg Chebbi desert camp for an enchanting night under the stars. Dinner accompanied by Berber music and drums, sleeping in traditional tents.

Day 3: Merzouga Sightseeing [60 km]

Wake up early to watch the sunrise in the desert. Around 9 AM, return by camel to the hotel for shower and breakfast. Set out for the Great Dune of Morocco, following the Paris-Dakar route. Visit the Tissardmine oasis, authentic nomadic tents, and stop in Khamlia, a village with a small Gnawa music concert. After lunch, enjoy free time to climb the dunes and witness a captivating sunset. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert » Rissani Market » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley [267 km]

After breakfast, head to the Todra Gorges, a canyon with crystal-clear rivers, surrounded by palm groves and Berber villages. Pass through Boumalne Dades, known for its markets, and continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its greenery, red mountains, and numerous kasbahs. Explore the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and stay overnight in a hotel with dinner.

Day 5: Dades Valley » Rose Valley » Skoura Palmeraie » Marrakech [331 km]

Travel through the Rose Valley, stopping in Kelaa M’Gouna, famous for roses and the Rose Festival in May. Pass through the Skoura Oasis with palm trees and the Amridil Kasbah. Continue through the High Atlas, crossing the Tizi N’Tichka pass with panoramic views. Visit the argan oil cooperative again. Lunch in the fertile Zat Valley, a Berber paradise. Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your hotel/riad, and the end of our services.
