Detailed Itinerary

Ourika Valley Tour starts early in the morning from Marrakech. Meanwhile, our guide will pick you up from your accommodations in a private air-conditioned vehicle. To begin with, the road trip passes through the High Atlas Mountain range with its breathtaking landscape.

At the same time, we will come across Berber villages, where we’ll make a stop to experience the local culture and the way of life.

Furthermore, upon arrival at the Ourika Valley, we will start exploring this beautiful site. Certainly, the untouched nature with a beautiful atmosphere and magnificent landscapes will amaze you. The site is filled with greenery, various trees, flowers, gorgeous cascades, and, running water between reddish slopes. Indeed, Ourika valley is a small paradise for nature lovers.

Next, there will be a stop at a downtown area of Ourika. You will have a chance to visit the Berber market, which is most active on Mondays and Thursdays. Afterward, we will drive to the Berber village of Setti Fatma. Here, we’ll stop by a Berber house for a cup of mint tea. Then, we’ll enjoy delicious tajines for lunch in one of the many traditional restaurants.

Eventually, we will take a camel ride or a hike to the seven waterfalls of Setti Fatma. Truly, this is one of the most attractive places in the Ourika Valley. Not to mention, the beautiful cascades are a perfect subject for photography. Moreover, If we have more time, we will visit the tomb of Setti Fatma and the argan oil organization.

That being said, in the late afternoon, we will be on our way back to Marrakech. In the meantime, the scenic drive back to the city will offer romantic vistas of the High Atlas Mountains again. We might be lucky to see the sun go down over the snow-capped peaks (it depends on the season of the visit). In Marrakech, we will drop you off at your accommodations.
