Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Fes
Start your tour in Casablanca with a private tour guide. The first place to visit would be the Hassan II mosque, one of the biggest buildings in Morocco that attract many visitors.
Afterwhile, we’ll drive directly to Rabat city to see the unfinished Hassan minaret and the Kasbah of Oudayas as well. After that, we will continue through Meknes to Fes, staying overnight at a local Riad or hotel.
Day 2: Explore Fes City With a Local Guide
Explore the oldest Moroccan city first thing to do in the morning. It contains some of the oldest buildings in the country. We'll begin our navigation at the Royal Palace, Also we'll have enough time for the Jewish quarters, which are considered the oldest Mellah in the world.
You'll visit the most famous Islamic University in the region and the first one in the world. Not only that, but also you will find out the tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. You'll see a variety of cooperatives in the medina and take in a stunning aerial perspective of the entire city from a riad's roof.
Day 3: Fes - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
After a lovely breakfast at your riad. The Atlas Mountains of Morocco are the next stop on your way to the Merzouga Sahara desert. You will have a visit to cedar forest, a Berber village that's home to the legendary apes. Our journey continues to reach Midelt and into the Ziz Valley, with a quick stop in Erfoud, to explore its fossil decorations.
In a short drive, you will arrive at the Sahara Desert, you’ll enjoy sand dunes with an experienced camel ride, who will take you on a long trip and stop at the peak of the dunes for the sunset and practice sandboarding. After a long day of desert adventure, you will have a gourmet dinner and a music party around the Campfire at a traditional Berber-style nomad tent before spending the night under the stars.
Day 4: Explore the Merzouga area & Visit a Nomad
The next day, you will wake up early to catch the sunrise, one of the most magnificent sunrises ever seen on earth, take pictures. Then we'll visit a nomad family at the heart of the desert. Learn how they make pizzas, and how they live their lifestyle. You will take a rest for a while, and then we will make a dunes drive through the desert.
Afterwards, continue to visit El khamlia, a small town in the area where we will enjoy dark skin gnawa music. Also have a cup of tea before visiting local artisans. Lastly you will be transferred to the hotel for the rest of the long day.
Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate
After a nice breakfast in the morning we will continue our journey toward Rissani to explore the traditional market in the area.
Furthermore, our 6-day trip is still going on by reaching Todra gorges, a high mountain in the atlas that surely will be admired for a long walk near the Todra river, Lastly passing through Dades gorge where you will have dinner and spend the whole night in a local hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
Today will be a long day that starts from Dades gorges to Marrakech. Our first place to discover is Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, the Moroccan “Hollywood of Africa ''. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the local film Atlas studio and Kasbah (Fortress).
Leave towards The most famous Kasbah in Morocco, the ancient city of Ait Ben Haddou. It's a UNESCO world heritage site, lose yourself at the ancient kasbah before taking lunch in a local restaurant. We’ll continue along the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. your 6 days tour from Casablanca will end in this Red city with a dorp off at your acommodation.
