The 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes starts early in the morning at Marrakech. After breakfast, we will pick you up from your riad or hotel and set off in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Our first road trip takes from Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou village. The drive from Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou takes you to a scenic view at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. We will make several stops along the way to take pictures of these snowcapped peaks and of the scenic landscape along Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 in attitude).

At Ait Benhaddou village, we will visit the Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, which is one of the most popular Kasbahs in Morocco. The fortified, red-earthen village provides a glimpse of ancient Morocco. The village is about 1200 years old and most of the structures built centuries ago are still intact. Roaming the passageways of this classical Kasbah is an exciting experience. It is important to note that Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have lunch at the Ait Benhaddou village before leaving for the Ouarzazate city. As we approach this city, the climate becomes more desert-like, paving the way for a spectacular desert landscape. Unlike Ait Benhaddou village, the city offers a vast range of attractions in addition to Kasbahs. However, Ait Benhaddou is popular because of its incredible ancient world features, including the architecture of the city. This is why it has been featured in popular movies like Black Hawk Down, Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones series among others. We will make a quick stop at Atlas Studios for a photo session and then proceed downtown to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will also visit the Kasbah of Tifoultout before going to the riad for the night.

Today, you will start another adventure in your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes. After breakfast at your riad, we will take a road drive towards Todra Gorge. This scenic road trip passes through Kalaat M’Gouna, Boumalne, and Tanghir en route to Todra Gorge. At Todra Gorge, you will be wowed by massive canyons about 400 meters deep. We will walk around the Todra Valley and tour major oases found along this valley. You will also have fun hiking the Todra River Gorges on foot. You will have all the time to take as many pictures as you like while on site. We will also have lunch at a restaurant serving local food.

After lunch, we will take a desert tour towards Todra Gorge, where camels will be waiting for us. You will be taking one of the best desert camel rides in Morocco, about an hour and 30 minutes to Berber camp. We will also be climbing the giant dunes of Erg Chaabi, among other activities. Some of these dunes can be over 200 meters in height. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset over the dunes and the unique silence of the vast Sahara desert when the night falls. We will then spend the night at a traditional Berber nomad camp, where traditional food will be served. You will be entertained by traditional Berber music with dancing around the campfire before going to sleep.

In this days of 4-day Marrakech to Fes Desert tour, we will wake up early in the morning to experience the magical view of the sunrise on top of the dunes in the Merzouga desert. Our tour guide will wake you up to ensure that you don’t miss the sight of a desert sunrise. You need a camera to capture this moment. After this, you will take a desert camel ride back to your riad or hotel where your driver will be waiting to take you on a more immersing drive into the Merzouga desert.

Immediately after freshening up, we will take a 4x4 off-track desert ride towards Hassilabiad and Khamlia villages, where we will meet nomads living in the desert. We will also be enjoying live Gnawa music by the local tribes. The 4x4 off-road trip will delve deeper into the desert to Lake Dayte Sarje, an oasis at the dunes, and a visit to black volcanic rocks. We will then go see the souks of Rissani for the best part of the afternoon. In the evening, we will drive you back to your riad or hotel in Merzouga.

This is the last day of the 4 days Sahara tour from Marrakech to Fes. We will take a long road trip (more than 470 km) from Merzouga to Fes. We will pass through Erfoud, Errachidia, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley. The route passes through numerous tribal villages along the way. We will be stopping for photo sessions, as well as be interacting with local tribes, including Berbers. The oasis of Aoufous is one of the must-see places. The panoramic view of this oasis is what makes it so popular in the Tafilalter region. At lunchtime we should be at the town of Midelt. We will eat at a local restaurant serving local cuisine.

After lunch, we will set off towards the cedar forest near the city of Azrou, which is popular because of its monkey troops. From Azrou, we will take another spectacular road drive to Ifran, which is famous for its skiing activities. That's the reason it is widely known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco.” Fes will be our last stop. Once we arrive there, we will drop you at your riad or hotel.
