After breakfast, we will pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned private car and set off for our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech. The drive from the city of Fes to Merzouga takes you through scenic landscapes and beautiful towns. Our first stop will be the town of Ifrane. The small town is known as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its incredibly clean environment. We will explore both the ancient and modern towns of Ifrane before taking another scenic road drive towards the city of Azrou.

At Azrou, we will tour the famous cedar forest. This forest is popularly known for its amiable monkey troops. You will enjoy playing and feeding them before heading on to another thrilling road drive to the town of Midelt. We will explore the small town of Midelt before heading on to Merzouga.

Upon arriving in Merzouga, you will be in for one of the best desert camel rides in Morocco. You will be climbing giant dunes, and enjoying a beautiful sunset over the dunes. It is one of the best sections of the Fes desert tours. You will then spend the night at a traditional Berber nomad camp, where you will enjoy delicious dinner and classical Berber music around the campfire before going to sleep. For those who have an interest in watching stars, the Sahara desert offers an incredible experience.

Rise early in the morning to experience the magical sunrise on top of the dunes in the Sahara desert. So, don’t forget to set the alarm to wake you up. In addition to that, make sure to bring a camera with you to capture this moment. After this, you will take another spectacular Morocco desert camel ride back to your riad or hotel where your driver will be waiting for you. Next, he will take you on a more immersing drive into the Merzouga desert.

After freshening up, we will take a 4x4 off-track desert ride towards Hassilabied and Khamlia villages. In this area, we might be lucky to meet nomads living in desert camps. We will also be enjoying live Gnawa music by the local tribes. The 4x4 off-road trip will delve deeper into the desert to Lake Dayte Sarje, several oases at the dunes, and a tour to the black volcanic rocks. After this we will visit souks of Rissani for the most part of the afternoon. In the evening, we will drive you back to your riad/hotel in Merzouga.

In the morning, you can rise early to experience a spectacular sunrise over the Merzouga town. After breakfast, we will take a scenic road trip to Todra Gorge. Don’t miss out on capturing the images of the beautiful landscape on our way to this site. In addition to that, the climate will become less desert-like as the fields will gradually become green. We will also pass several small towns along the way as well as Berber villages. Upon arriving at Todra Gorge, we will have lunch at a restaurant serving local food before exploring the beautiful site for the rest of the day.

At the site, you will be wowed by massive canyons, which are around 400 meters deep. We will walk around the Todra Valley and tour major oases found along this valley. You will also have fun hiking the Todra River Gorges on foot. Take as many pictures as you like while on site. We will then visit gardens along the river as well as the local tribe villages. In the evening, we will enjoy a fantastic sunset again before going back to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, we will drive from Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate. It is another scenic road trip where you will get to enjoy the panoramic view of the Dadès Valley. As we approach Ouarzazate, you will be wowed by the sight of this ancient city. The city provides a perfect blend of ancient and modern civilization. That’s why it has been featured in many movies because of its rich ancient features. One of the popular movies that have several scenes filmed in this town is the Game of Thrones series.

We will visit the Kasbahs of Taourirt and Tifoultoute, which are two major attractions in Ouarzazate. After a tour to the Kasbahs, we will heat to the Ouarzazate’s Main Square before a drive to the Atlas Film Studio. We will take a road trip to Ait Benhaddou village. The village hosts the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which is the most popular Kasbah in Morocco. The fortified, red-earthen Ait Benhaddou provides a glimpse of ancient Morocco. The village is over 1200 years old, and its classical architectural work is still intact. Roaming the passageways in this Kasbah feels like walking in the ancient world. This site is truly spectacular.

In the afternoon, we will take our last drive of our Fes desert tour 4 days towards the city of Marrakech. The drive to Marrakech is one of the most scenic stretches on this desert tour. The journey takes you to the breathtaking view of picturesque High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass. We will have several stops to take pictures of the Tizi n’Tichka pass and the magnificent snowcapped peaks. By the evening, we will be in Marrakech, where our 4 days Morocco desert tour ends.
